Pilot Scheme: “Code of Ethics and Best Practices in Andalucía”. A project of educational ecotourism and international cooperation that views ecotourism as a conscientious, responsible, solidary, experiential, sustainable and as a tourism of peace.
ANDECO seeks to show the way that the indigenous traditions have traced out. These traditions have endowed the earth with a sacred significance, establishing a deep connection between the past, present and future recognizing and respecting the Principles of the Universe. The salvation of the planet demands the creation of a new culture founded on Universal Principles that guide us all to live loving nature and protecting biodiversity; that guide us in the care and respect for life and cultural diversity; that guide us in living lives of service and integrity for the benefit of all humanity.
The Quetzal was the sacred bird of the Aztecs and represented freedom, life, beauty and abundance evoking sacred power. Under these ideals ANDECO is planning a twinning with the Ecotourism of Mexico building a bridge for international cooperation under the motto “Building True Ecotourism Together. Rescuing Indigenous Wisdom”.
